“Om een laptop als de Toshiba Portege R700-14F te kunnen bouwen, hebben wij belangrijke vorderingen moeten maken op drie terreinen: hittemanagement, de constructie van het chassis en de plaatsing van de geheugenchips,” aldus Ravel. De Airflow Cooling Technology, samen ontwikkeld door Intel® en Toshiba, stelt Toshiba in staat om de nieuwste processors uit de Intel® Core-lijn te integreren in de ranke behuizing van de Toshiba Portege R700-14F en het geluid van de ventilator tot een minimum te beperken. Een honingraatstructuur rond de palmrest maakt dat de Toshiba Portege R700-14F zeer goed bestand is tegen buigen, zodat de elektronische en mechanische onderdelen beschermd zijn tegen beschadigingen, wat de levensduur van het product aanzienlijk verlengd. Door de geheugensleuven op een innovatieve manier verticaal te ‘stapelen’ biedt de Toshiba Portege R700-14F ruimte voor maximaal 8 GB RAM-geheugen voor nog krachtigere prestaties.

De zwarte Toshiba Portege R700-14F zorgt ervoor dat zakelijke gebruikers lichtbepakt kunnen reizen zonder dat de prestaties daaronder lijden.
